Lorena Lozano
Artist and researcher on landscape and environment. ecoLAB and Agencia Paisaje collective member.
Graduated in Biology, specialised in Botany (Universidad de Oviedo, Asturias) and graduated on Environmental Art, Mackintosh School of Art, Glasgow, Scotland.
Worked in Switzerland and Scotland on regeneration and community projects, The Hidden Gardens, Tramway, Glasgow. In Barcelona collaborated with the teams Ciutats Ocasionals, Sitesize and Idensitat on artistic and interdisciplinary projects on landscape and public space in contemporary cities.
Currently participates on activities at CeCodet (Centre for Cooperation and Territorial Development, Asturias) and on educational Networks such as Campo Adentro Working Forum (education, art and countryside). She works on the field of artistic creation as a collaborative and critical process, connecting knowledge and methodologies from art, science and education. The result is an study of the relationships between human beings and environment, an exploration of the dilema between culture and nature, dislocation and cultural identity.
