Hitos, ya nadie muere en casa

These pieces follow on from a previous work. I am drawn to certain places in my search for constants, in an endeavour to reflect places that contain and end up in themselves, the last things at home, yet ―for all that― not the end of anything. Pieces in which image and sound gel into a closed unit that contains a complete "landscape". The overall project comprises ten "sarcophagi of landmarks" that hold an uncertain place, unidentifiable except for its photographic representation and an audio clue; combining image and sound in a non-cinematographic work, in this way transcending forms and formats. In an effort to capture the landscape, understood as movement rather than as a place or surroundings, time and space are elements to measure a crucial something, a decisive fact.
