Residency : Refarm the City
Design and production of a new set of digital tools to help the urban farmers on taking care of their vegetables and composter.
This new set of tools is divided in 2 groups:
1) More powerful and integrated refarm on mini vacations that, apart from monitoring different data (temperature, humidity and light), can also control localized water feed, backup systems (energy and water), data gathering, web link, and local information display. It's a complete kit with water pump, valves and external sensors included.
2) Tools for farmer kids where the sensors are in separated boards and data translated to different senses - temperature into movement, moister into light and light into sound.
This set of data translation also contains tools for producing energy from the wind and sun to recharge the batteries. Small dinamos and wind mills complemented with electronic recharge control.
