Do you enjoy playing videogames? Do you like spending your spare time in the park? Would you
like to have both in the same place? Now you can play a videogame while you are jumping off a
slide, on a swing or simply having fun with your friends on the see-saws. Come on, let’s try it!
Hybrid Playground is a playful interactive experience taking place in urban parks from Gijon.
The park elements become interactive objects allowing children to turn their actions and
movements into animations for generating a playful group dynamics. While playing children
will be wearing a bangle with this data giving them instructions about the use of swings,
slides or seesaws. Hybrid Playground is a playful and pedagogical activity offering schools
the opportunity to experience new learning dynamics though play.
Time: from10:30 am to1:30 pm
Enrollment: free
Targeting: elementary school students between 6 - 10 years old, in coordination with
educational centres
